One whole month

We have left Perth for one whole month now. Yes, you heard it right, we have left Perth. Kevin finished his studies so we packed up (which was no easy task!) and hmmm... came home. ;)

Before we left, we had a lot more stories to put up on the blog, but we were so busy with packing, going to places and meeting people. And since we came back, more stories need to be told but we had so much travelling, unpacking, cleaning, (eating) and child proofing to do. Now that we are a little more settled, we hope to start telling these stories... so, stay tuned!

Jaydon's First Bottle

Three weeks ago when Jaydon turned 4 weeks old, he was offered his milk in a bottle for the first time. He did well and drank 90ml, exactly the same amount as Jacynth did for her first bottle!

Kevin feeding Jaydon for the first time...

Jacynth, of course, wanted to help...

And Agnes got to do the last bit... ;)

The Many Faces of Jaydon

How many facial expressions can one have in 2 minutes?

So many! If only we have the time to just sit down and watch!

Last Chance at the Zoo

It was the last day of our one-year membership of Perth Zoo Friends. Agnes was determined to bring Jacynth to the zoo for one last time since we were not going to renew the membership. So when she woke from her afternoon nap one hour before the zoo closed for the day, they quickly rushed to the zoo.

They had the most wonderful time...

although only one penguin greeted them...

Stopped by to see the baboon...

The lions and lioness were all out to play...

 An elephant having afternoon snacks...

There was a lot of running as they were running out of time...

Alas, the trip ended with a grand finale when they were escorted out by a friendly zookeeper in her bike using routes that were usually closed to the public.

 Goodbye for now, Perth Zoo.

We shall think of the zoo fondly whenever Jacynth plays with her animal toys (more stories on them later).

Watch Jaydon Grow #1

How does a tiny seed become a mighty tree?
It's a miracle.
How does a sparrow fly in the boundless sky?
It's a miracle.
How can peace come to the spirit,
That has only known lifes storms?
How can a world that someones made so cold,
Change and become warm?

Its' the miracle of Jesus,
The greatest miracle of all.
He's so far beyond our simple minds,
Yet so near when sinners call.
All it takes is honest praying,
From an open seeking heart,
And the miracle of Jesus can start.

Table and chairs

It has been one whole year since the day Jacynth 'helped' to put together the set of table and chairs we bought for her. She loves them and we have to say that they have been well worth the money spent.

She uses them for...

reading with mummy...

reaching high places...

reading on her own...

obstacle courses...

playing with puzzles...

watching the news...

posing...
\

hanging out with daddy...

cooking...

resting...

playing with more puzzles...

more obstacle courses...

an excursion...

from the bed,

to the bathroom,

to the living room

to the couch...

felt activities...

 drawing...

painting...

sunbathing...

playing with animal toys with poh poh...

singing with kung kung...

fooling around...

hanging out with her frogs toys...

practising good alignments...

more fooling around...

watching TV...

watching TV while reading...

and finally, for a cuppa with friends...
