Grow, grow, grow

We thought it's about time to give a bit of an update as to what had become of our little garden. We intended to do this earlier when we took some photographs 2 weeks ago but there has obviously been additional growth since then. Therefore, here are some comparisons, just for fun. It's so good to "see" them grow!

Our tomato plants grew so much in just 2 weeks... it's already touching the top of the guard. They need to crawl on some sorta sticks, so we will do something about it after we come back from church camp this weekend.

These are the chilli plants from the seeds of the one chilli Agnes bought! We can't wait to harvest the fruits!

Something weird happened to (what we assumed were) the capsicum sprouts. First of all, they were nibbled by snails so we protected whatever was left of them with the gutter guard. However, there's only one sprout left now! Kevin suspects that the culprits are very small snails or some other bug that was able to crawl through the mesh.

Here's the whole garden bed. On the right-most are the tomato plants followed by chilli, an existing plant and finally the capsicums (one green, the other red but don't ask which is which because Agnes can't remember).

Since we seem to always take photographs of the garden bed in the late afternoon, the flowers (most left before our plants) already went to bed. They actually bloom very beautifully in the morning!
