There and Back Again...

There...

... and Back Again...

We had a 3 week break from the blog, as we spent time with family and friends back home in Malaysia. Such was our hectic schedule - visiting and meeting friends and relatives, playing board games, running errands, eating all the good Malaysian food, etc - that we barely had time to sleep, let alone update the blog!

It was heartbreaking to have to leave home for a second time, but we're also glad that we can get back to our daily rhythms back here and to have time for ourselves again. We will definitely miss all of you back home in Malaysia. Thank you all for taking a precious chunk out of your time to spend it with us!

It brought back to memory all the good ol' days we had in years gone by. How things have changed... :)

So the new year begins, with Kevin having to find some motivation to switch back into research mode after the long break, and Agnes embarking on a new adventure (next Monday) in her role as relief staff at the South Perth Child Care Centre!
