In the morning the next day, we woke up early again to head to the Dolphin Discovery Centre. Why not, since our entry tickets were valid for a month! This time, we arrived just in time to meet...
Tangles, a matriach whose dorsal fin was entangled in a fishing net that eventually ripped the tip off...
... and her baby Shadow, just under a year old.
heading back out to sea...
We decided to wait a while more just in case the dolphins returned, or some other dolphins came. They didn't. :)
We had to leave by 9.00 am, as we had one more place we wanted to visit before checking out of the hotel at 10.00 am - the mangrove forest boardwalk.
this is nothing compared to the ones we have in Malaysia - but they are definitely much cleaner! Not a hint of litter to be seen anywhere!
So we went back to the hotel, packed, checked out, and left Bunbury for our final journey...
what ya mean cleaner???!!?? havent ya heard... trash is Malaysian pride... =X
ReplyDeletehehe the mangrove forest reminds me of our trip down south to pulau kukup! litter everywhere!!
ReplyDeleteDatin: Oh ya... we forgot... :P
ReplyDeleteEric: That was exactly what came to our minds too... hehe.. except that the one in Malaysia was much larger and more impressive, if not for the rubbish everywhere...
