Kevin's mum bought us a set of pots and pans and a slow cooker. She also pain-stakingly made chicken essence for Agnes with the new slow cooker!
washing teeny-weeny clothes, bibs, mittens and socks - both new and hand-me-downs... we have received more hand-me-downs from Fiona's daughter
putting the cot (now waiting to put on the beautiful sheets that Kevin's mum, Wilson and Janet bought!) together
moving the furniture around the room to make way for the cot and the portable cot (it's now under the cot) that Helen gave us...
getting the wooden chest ready for baby wraps, towels etc ...it was previously full of dress ups from Wendy's friend - the dress ups are with the child care centre ;)
the Skinners lent us lots of things,
and gave us a bath and a change table!
Helene gave us a high chair that can be used as a "low" chair too!
more bibs and body suits from Lyn... she's so sweet!
We also attended ante-natal classes, where during one of the sessions Kevin was 'volunteered' to show where the epidural needle goes to the spine... ;)
The next thing we need to do is to get a car seat. Technically, we already did but the Baby World Nursery Products, where we bought the seat from has closed :O before we got the product. Now we are back to square one, with a high likelihood of not getting back any refund. Nahhh, we are not letting that upset us..! :)
Haha! First time seeing the socks - love the card! :) And we are so, so excited for the both of you! :)

ReplyDeletenot all are in newborn sizes la.. hehe
ReplyDeletewell, initially i made up my mind that i would definitely take epidural... but after discussing with the doctor, have recently decided not to until i really need it (provided it's not too late then. hehe)
