As with all Sundays, we rush home from church so we can put Jacynth down for her morning nap. Three Sundays ago, while she was napping, Kevin cooked lunch and then announced that we were not going to waste a beautiful day staying at home. He merely informed Agnes that we were going out once Jacynth woke up. And we did.
We ended up on one of the playgrounds along Cottlesloe Beach.
munching on our pears...
playing with our toys...
enjoying each other...
exploring the playground...
meeting some new friends...
Then, it was time for Jacynth's afternoon nap. While she napped in her stroller, we went for a stroll (mainly to look for the toilet).
Before we left, we had to go down to the beach. After all, it was meant to be a beach outing! :D
Unlike her previous sand experience, Jacynth was not thrilled. Perhaps it was because she had just woken up from her nap or because the sand was really cold.
We let her experience a bit of the surf...
...and finally, had our family potrait taken. ;)
A beautiful Sunday and a perfect family day! I was smiling as I strolled down your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteyay, aunty fern was here!! ;p
ReplyDeleteLove it! By the way I suppose you figured it out already but if you haven't, the toilets are under Indiana's which is the lovely iconic Cottesloe building. Did you check out Sculptures by the Sea this year? It's the sort of thing that I'm sure you and Kevin will like. Usually in March yearly. I can't believe she's standing up and crawling up stairs etc already! I know boy babies who did that but she's the first girl I know.
ReplyDeleteyah.. we have been to that toilet during our last trip there when my parents were around. :) i wanted to go for sculptures by the sea.. really really wanted but that time just came back from malaysia and jacynth's sleeps were all over the place so i had no idea how to manage. ;p perhaps jacynth can play at the playground with brendan soon! haha
