Last Chance to See... Western Australia

As the end of our 3 and a half year journey in Perth drew nigh, we seized the opportunity to make a final road-trip, a last-ditch attempt to visit places that we'd never been to before. The fact that Jaydon was turning one month old then, meant that Kevin's parents were around to celebrate the full moon too, while Agnes' parents were already around to help out with Agnes' confinement. And so we all travelled, with both sets of families, to the much-hyped Wave Rock near Hyden, then drove further South East to the white sandy beaches of Esperance, before heading back West along the South Coast to Albany. It was indeed the mother of all road-trips! What a way to say good bye to WA and its amazing coasts, ancient landscapes, vast outback, unique fauna (although we missed the Southern Right whales D: ), rich history, and friendly people! Perhaps, one day we may have the chance to return...
