12 years

12 years is a long time. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to meet a friend you have not met for 12 long years? Erin is an old friend of Agnes from school who migrated to Australia with her family.

The girls hugged. Then, we talked. And we laughed. It was like trying to make up for all the times we have not talked and laughed together. The pharmacy conference brought Erin and her husband Ray, to Perth from Melbourne. Thank you, Erin, for the "sacrifices" you made so that we could meet up. ;) And Ray, it was really nice meeting you!
 
12 years is a long time indeed. We have grown up from being teenagers to being a man, a woman, somebody's husband, somebody's wife, and in Erin's case, somebody's mother (very soon now!). :D
