Crab 'Feast'!

This was after Jacynth's dedication and blessing at church 3 weekends ago.

Well, it wasn't really a feast, as we only managed to take home 7 crabs. The rest were all too small and undersized, probably due to the fact that the season is just beginning. Apparently the blue manna crabs grow larger in warmer weather, that's why summer is the best time to go catching them. We were slightly disappointed with our haul, but regardless of that, it was still a fun experience and we thought it'd be interesting to bring our parents there. Agnes and Jacynth stayed home of course.
Throwing back the undersized crabs...

... and the leftover bait!

And the feast begins!

A couple of days later, our parents were at a fresh fish market, and saw blue manna crabs for sale - at 12.00 dollars each! It made everyone happy, since this means that our trip was probably worth it in the end - including petrol and the price we paid for bait! :)
