Pumpkin Muchkin

Autumn is here... and with it, pumpkin season! We bought a pumpkin so we could start Jacynth on some solid food, along with some broccoli, potatoes and rice cereal.

Just a day after, we found a whole box of pumpkins lying at the front entrance to our church, and they were for sale! It was to raise funds for the chaplaincy in some school. We of course couldn't resist getting Jacynth a little 30 cent pumpkin to play with!

And we bought another one for ourselves (which Jacynth also had a chance to play with)

 It's mine!

Anyway, with so many pumpkins, the only way we could make full use of them was to make pumpkin cakes! ;)

  1. There's a very simple cina way of prep it. Steam it in chunky cubes, then add onion crisps/'cooked' oil + oyster/soya sauce. Chinese dish of course.
