Swamped #1

And so the fiesta began with the visit of Agnes' two school friends two months ago.

(Aunty) Pat arrived with a whole luggage of snacks from Agnes' parents and Jacynth was most excited to uncover the goodies. The ladies went groceries shopping and to Kings Park where Pat got to do most of the Jacynth-chasing.

While Pat spent some time with her cousin and did some travelling, (Aunty) Shu Yee arrived a week later with (Uncle) Kar Wai, and more goodies.

We went for the customary barbeque by the foreshore on a cold night.

Then, we took a trip down to the Southwest over the weekend. While Shu Yee and Kar Wai took a stroll along the 2km Busselton Jetty, we went to the playground.

Enjoying the coastal scenery...

During lunch at the Brooklands Winery, we actually bumped into Pat!

Sunset at Cape Leeuwin

Kevin was busy preparing for a presentation for the postgraduate students seminar, so he decided to stay in the car to practise while the rest of us walked around Cape Leeuwin.

Our last stop during the trip was to the Donnybrook Playground, apparently the biggest playground in WA! Kar Wai helped to nanny Jacynth while Shu Yee snapped away... and we both took a coffee break.

When Pat, Shu Yee and Kar Wai left on the same flight, we had 3 days to rest before many more visitors would arrive!
