Swamped #2

Next to arrive were Agnes' sister's family of four and a few hours later, her parents with her brother, Fred. By then, we had luggages, clothes and chaos in the house.

It's quite impossible to have a decent picture of the ten of us! To be honest, there are a number in Fred's camera. ;)

We went on  the northernmost and longest road trip we'd ever been in WA. We had driven close to 2,000 km by the end of the 5-day trip! Kevin and Fred were the dedicated drivers while the rest of us made ourselves useful in and around the 12-seater van.

at the Pinnacles... again, for some of us....

first night in Geraldton...

at Hamelin bay to say hi to the Stromatolites...

at Shell Beach...

where the flies reigned...

Jacynth busy playing with all the shells...

at Eagle Bluff in Shark Bay Marine Park (part of the Shark Bay World Heritage Area)...

Our ultimate destination was Denham. On our arrival, we were greeted  by emus on the street...

and a beautiful accommodation equipped with indoor and outdoor toys for the kids, where we stayed for 2 nights...

Wild dolphins visit the shores of Monkey Mia every day throughout the year...

... and they come again and again! :)

While waiting for the cruise on Aristocat 2, we chilled out with the pelicans...

and played at the beach.

Strong men helping the Aristocat 2 set sail...

Off we went!

First stop at the Blue Lagoon,

a pearl farm ...

exploring the indoor lounge of the Aristocat 2...

testing out the boom netting...

The crew on Aristocat 2 were very committed (spot one of them up on the sail!) and we were thrilled to meet some marine animals while on board. We saw a turtle, a tiger shark and after a long search, the endangered dugong.

We saw more dolphins and here's one riding on the wave of the yacht!

By the end of the cruise, Jacynth was more than ready for her nap...

Fred's graduation photo-shooting at Little Lagoon! :)

at Ocean Park...

our final night at Kalbarri...

sunset at Red Bluff...

at Eagle Gorge... before the long drive home to Perth...
