From Ipoh to Selangor

After spending about 2 weeks travelling to and from Penang and Ipoh, spending time with family mostly, it was then time to head back to KL/Selangor to meet our friends...

Introducing Jacynth to Bandar Sunway church members...

Then heading off to the Sime Darby convention centre to meet the ex-MMUCFers while having a buffet lunch....

It's interesting how the conversation at such gatherings now seem to be focused on baby-related stuff... a sign of how much things have changed since we all graduated from university! Many of us have got kids now and more are on the way!

Jacynth wants a balloon too!

Leona couldn't join us for the gathering, so we had a special meeting with her at KLCC over lunch, and Kevin got to go shop for his books after that...

Another one of our 'must eat' dinners - marmite chicken and butter mantis shrimp at Yu Yee...

Ramli burger... the best burgers in the world!

Meeting Gim Han and Steph for breakfast at the pork noodles shop in Kota Kemuning. We probably ate at this place about 3 or 4 times while we were back in Malaysia - it's addictive!

Baeley and Jacynth having fun together at Jo's place

Agnes' HSBC ex-colleagues... all with kids now...

The one thing we just had to have back home - the king of fruits!

Making sure Jacynth gets used to the smell so that she can enjoy it when she grows up!

We had to travel to the Australian embassy 3 times just to sort out Jacynth's visa and collect it... we also had to make a trip to the panel clinic to do her medical checkup - quite a hassle considering that she was born in Oz!

Jacynth enjoying her moment on a high chair at d'Tandoor while waiting for her other grandma...

... Annette! Who tried very hard to brainwash Jacynth into making life difficult for her parents... and we think she succeeded...

Having Gui Ling Gao at Mid Valley while waiting for dinner with some other ex-CFers, our juniors mostly...
