God has been faithful. This time, we are reminded by a loaf of bread.
Every Tuesday, Bethlyn will collect leftover loaves of bread (if any) from Brumby's (a bakery) that have not been sold. Every other Wednesday, Bethlyn, Kees, Wendy and other volunteers will share these bread with a group of mentally-challenged friends over lunch. This Wednesday is the week where they are not meeting so Bethlyn shared some of the loaves she collected with Kees and Wendy. Kees and Wendy thought of us and brought the 3 loaves to our place where we took one.
We have never been in need. The Lord has always provided. Family. Friends. Food. Clothes. Shelter. This round, we received a loaf of bread from thoughtful friends. We are truly blessed.
By the way, Bethlyn, Kees and Wendy are our church friends. Talking about church, we will be posting an update on CHAOS soon - we are just waiting for some photographs. :)
