On Saturday, we paid a visit to the Burswood Entertainment Complex - home of Perth's Casino! Reason? To have lunch of course! What else?! Agnes saw an advert for Carver's - a buffet restaurant inside the casino itself - and decided to treat Kevin to a pre-birthday lunch. And it costs only $15.95 per person for members. So we took a bus to the city, changed to another bus, arrived at the casino, joined as members of the casino (its free!), got our membership cards, then went and had our scrumptious buffet lunch! Yummm...
We had very yummy food - Agnes had an overdose of creampuffs...
and Kevin had an overdose of everthing...
Now, it costs us only half the price of what we usually paid for when we eat out, be it at an Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese or Italian restaurant! As new members of the casino, we were entitled to participate some lucky draws. We were also surprised to find out that we were given $5 worth of chips each to play some of the 'games' in the casino. But of course, we just changed it for cash! See, we are both a good boy and a good girl! ;) So in effect, we only paid about $22 for our buffet lunch (not inclusive of travel expenses)!
After lunch, we took a walk around Burswood Park to help digest the food...
