On the evening of Day 2 of our trip, we received the bad news that shocked us to the core... Even now, a week later, it still seems so unreal...
Here's our feeble attempt to celebrate the life of our dear friend and brother, James Ng Chee Kai, whom we will fondly remember...
... as the loud guy who always had an opinion on any issue!
... as the generous guy who bought lots of 'SanCFich'es and 'kah liu' kau kau... just to support our CF fundraising cause!
... as the guy who always availed himself to do the labour work in CF!
... as the guy who built the CyberChristmas snowmen and insisted we make snow too...
... and as the impulsive and headstrong guy who insisted we destroy it afterwards!
... as the guy who made camps so much more fun with his King Scout experience!... as the down-to-earth guy who injected the occasional foul language into our Christian gatherings!
... and whenever there's food!
... as the guy who came for our farewell and said he would visit us in Perth...
... and last but not least, as the one and only BIG JAMES!Your presence will be sorely missed...
in memory of James...sobsob.
ReplyDeleteLove you guys. We don't say it often enough. Thanks for the memories we made.. thanks for the ones we will make.
ReplyDeleteThis is not goodbye, but "See you again"... in our Father's house!
ReplyDeletei did not know him long.. but in the short time we had as friends i respected him in all his principles.. his love for his friends never fails.. his departure is still a mystery to me.. how.. when.. why.. but i believe GOD has greater plans for you James..
ReplyDeleteit was very sudden. i cant guess why God took him first among all of us, but we pray we should cherish each other while we are still here. take care guys.
