Snow!

We left Hat Creek early on Saturday morning, and the plan was to visit Lassen Volcanic National Park on the way back. We had really clear weather compared to the day before, so we managed to snap a few nice pictures from inside the car.

Unfortunately, we were unable to drive through the National Park due to road closures. So we stopped just inside the entrance and decided to take a short stroll along a nearby lake. It was really cold!

And guess what we saw...

SNOW! It wasn't much, and most of it was compacted snow, but for Agnes... she touched snow for the first time in her life! We had a little bit of fun with it...

And then it was back to the car and the long way back to Berkeley.
