TIPS ON PHOTOGRAPHY
Tip 21: Safety is paramount. If getting the best shots of the surrounding scenery involves lengthy hikes as well as climbing precarious rocks and precipices, send someone else (like your dad) to do it. Wait at the car with your mom until he returns...
Tip 22: Smile! (or pretend to be smiling)
Tip 24: Shadows are always fun to do and they look great! It's especially handy if you want a family photo but cannot afford to hire a photographer to follow you around. Wanna guess who these people are?
Tip 25: Watch out for windy areas where your hair may be blown into your face. Push it aside and hold on to it if possible. Too bad I couldn't get my hands free in this instance...
Tip 26: If you need to be in a photo and the location is inaccessible to you (but make sure it's not too dangerous, otherwise see Tip 1), get assistance. Don't worry, you'll still be the star in the photo!
Tip 27: Looking away from the camera often adds a dramatic effect... (I learnt that from my 'kung kung')
Tip 28: Bright background lights can create amazing silhouette effects
Tip 29: Although you'll be too small to be recognizable from a distance, being in the picture gives a sense of scale to the object of interest - in this case the church.
Tip 30: On bad hair-days, avoid appearing in photos at all costs!
