Yosemite.. the home of Yogi Bear?

After a lot, a llllloooooooottttttttt of deliberation (from weeks before we left Perth), we FINALLY (2 days before our last weekend in San Francisco) booked the one-day tour to Yosemite National Park . Besides the hot weather, the fact that we did not sight any bears and the huge crowd which prevented our tour bus from making a few intended stops which resulted in us not being able to hike to the Bridalveil Falls, we manage to capture a lot of beautiful photographs. Well, at least we can say that we have been there... since it's (only?) 3.5 hours away... ;)

the Yosemite Valley... we were mesmerised by its magnificence...

the massive granite cliffs and domes...

the Bridalveil Falls from afar... with Half Dome in the background...

The Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls... compare them with the minute-looking cars/ buses/ trees at its bottom!

the Yosemite Upper Falls is apparently the highest waterfall in North America...

the hunt for giant sequoias... their trunks can reach over 25 feet thick!

A beer and a soda, a perfect way to end a hot and tiring day...
